Keeping your goals in mind, she will come up an individualized treatment plan in order to achieve the pain free quality of life you deserve!
Treatment will be one on one with Dr. Ashley utilizing a hands-on approach through manual therapy and neuromuscular re-education including joint mobilizations, myofascial and trigger point release, soft tissue mobilization, proprioceptive neuromuscular feedback and muscle energy techniques. Visual, verbal and manual feedback will be utilized in order to achieve quality movement throughout each session. Therapeutic exercises will be established in order to improve muscular endurance, strength, balance and flexibility utilizing tools from Pilates, Schroth and various other proven methods. You will be given handouts in order to perform selective exercises and postures at home to aide in the rehabilitative process.
With the ability to access the Pilates apparatuses throughout the sessions, you will find a seamless transition to establishing a regular Pilates program with the staff at Edge Pilates who are also focused on quality of movement for improving the upright posture.
